The official launch of Jeyes's Northamptonshire Sauce -
2nd October 2020
As the streets of Earls Barton slowly awoke on a wet and dreary Friday morning we were joined by a cheerful Tom Percival from BBC Radio Northampton. With Annabel Amos back in the warm studio we had a fabulous morning launching Jeyes's Northamptonshire Sauce!
Georgina opened the interviews with the heritage and story behind the sauce, followed by Rachael Bradshaw, the first stockists of our sauce, Steve Reid, the marvellous maker and then, all rounded off by Jenny, the vicar who spoilt us with a wonderful poem blessing the sauce!
What a wonderful morning we all had in the rain...there were giggles and sausage sarnies smothered in a bit of Jeyes's!
Moongate Garden Market - Celebrating the launch of Jeyes's Northamptonshire Sauce -
3rd October 2020
The marquee was decked in all things Northampton for this very special weekend. The flags and bunting were up, burgundy and gold flowers adorned the marquee and special guests were all invited. The day was wet and the rain poured down but our spirits were high....in just a few weeks we had achieved so much. From a simple recipe in an ancient book to a delicious sauce - bottled, labelled, marketed and launched all within a matter of weeks! The day was a great success and the bottles of sauce were flying out the marquee....the support from Earls Barton village and Northamptonshire was amazing. Bring on the next chapter and watch this space everyone for more traditional, original recipes on there way from Philadelphus Jeyes!
